The Elliot Clan Tartan is produced in situ and can be ordered from stock. We are also happy to offer items in our family tartan, such as waistcoats, ties, bow ties, gent's caps, ladies scarves and soft toys. The range would not be complete without our rugs in Shetland, lambswool and our popular waterproof backed rugs. |

Designed exclusively by Andrew Elliot for the town of Selkirk in 1997. The colours in the Selkirk Tartan are all historically linked to the town i.e. the true blue and scarlet are the town colours, black and white from the shepherds plaid of Sir Walter Scott, navy and white from Selkirk Rugby club, forest green from the Selkirk merchant company and green and heather from the Selkirk hill. |

In Scotland, Selkirk is not a common surname and therefore no family tartan exists, so although (designed as a tartan for the town) it can also apply to anyone with the surname Selkirk. The tartan has been formally registered with the Scottish Tartan Society and given accreditation as an official tartan, with our company credited as designers and sole manufacturers of the tartan. Tartan can be ordered from stock and as with the Elliot tartan a large selection of accessories are available. |
